The hotel is so close to the beach that at night you can actually hear the crashing of the waves - it's perfection. The cleaning staff was great, but the grounds need help. The Sunset Restaurant was great, but not all rooms are updated for the price.

Enjoyed the beaches and Point Dume. The hotel is just off the main road, a few minutes walk from Zuma Beach and a short drive from the supermarket and coffee shops.

My stay at the hotel was a mixture of positives and negatives. The location stood out as fantastic, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The rooms were in need of some updates but were decently comfortable. The staff was attentive and helpful, although there were some issues with the service. I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were not the best with a dirty stained carpet, old beat-up furniture, and a strong smoking smell, the service was decent.
